POTSDAM — Four local Vietnam veterans are receiving a send-off today for their Honor Flight to Washington, D.C.
Leo Grant and Roger Butch Murray of Potsdam, John Collins of Russell, and Ron Roberts of Colton are being recognized for serving their country during the Vietnam conflict.
Send-off for the four veterans will start at 12:15 p.m. from Colton Amvets, 5082 Rt. 56, Colton.
The parade will then drive by the Potsdam Elks Lodge on their way to Plattsburgh Airport.
The community is invited to wave flags or cheer them on as they pass by on their route.
