SLC Arts' second 2024 solo exhibition is now on display at the Ogdensburg International Airport.
"BALANCE" is a series of digital photography compositions created by local artist and Ogdensburg native Allison Montroy. Allison graduated from the Digital Arts and Sciences program at Clarkson University in 2015.
This series plays on the theme of "chaotic serenity" - how even a quiet summer night in the country can seem so loud under an orchestra of crickets, while the everyday hustle and bustle of a city can become background noise to someone who lives there.
The series is on display now through May 3.
The series highlights photos of structures in NYC juxtaposed with nature shots from upstate New York. More information -- including a virtual version of the exhibit -- can be found at artisticinquiryllc.com/exhibit.
