OGDENSBURG -- City historian and local teacher Julie Breen Madlin was honored Friday night as the Ogdensburg Citizen of the Year.
The Greater Ogdensburg Chamber of Commerce honored Madlin at its annual dinner at the Gran-View Restaurant.
Madlin recently was the driving force behind the Ogdensburg History Museum on Ford Street.
She is a teacher at Heuvelton Central School and also volunteers her time helping many organizations with events, grant writing, research and assisting with activities that help promote Ogdensburg.
