Humid air ahead of a cold front will help supply enough fuel for scattered morning thunderstorms today with possible severe wind gusts and flash flooding across St. Lawrence County, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).
Chances of thunderstorms will decrease during the
afternoon as drier air begins to enter the North Country, and precipitation chances will diminish tonight.
Expect a high temperature today around 77 with and overnight low near 54.
Quieter weather is expected for the upcoming week with seasonable warmth and mostly rain-free conditions, NWS says.

Sunny, with a high near 75. North wind 5 to 7 mph.
Monday Night
Mostly clear, with a low around 54. Light and variable wind.
Tuesday
Increasing clouds, with a high near 80. Light and variable wind.

Mostly cloudy, with a low around 64. Calm wind becoming south around 5 mph after midnight.
Wednesday
A 40 percent chance of showers after 2pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 81. Southwest wind 6 to 16 mph.
