CANTON — Assemblyman Scott Gray (R-Watertown), who represents St. Lawrence County in the River District, and Brian Murray, state director for USDA Rural Development in New York, will be hosting a forum tomorrow, Sept. 7 from 4-7 p.m. for “North Country Prospers.”
The event with the USDA will focus on assisting with community projects and equipment and will be held at SUNY Canton, Woodcock Conference Suite, 34 Cornell Dr.
The forum is an educational opportunity for municipalities, county, town and village governments, EMS teams, fire departments, local ATV clubs and more.
This forum will inform the area about the programs and advantages the USDA has to offer the localities.
The USDA is a federally funded organization with the goal to promote and enhance rural living in America.
