CANTON – A DePeyster man is facing a felony charge stemming from a domestic violence incident that happened last December.
St. Lawrence County sheriff deputies on Thursday charged Richard J. Deal, 42, with a felony count of aggravated family offense and misdemeanor second-degree unlawful imprisonment on an arrest warrant on Sept. 24.
The alleged incident happened on Dec. 17, 2023.
Deal was arraigned in Canton Town Court and released under probationary supervision with an order in place in favor of the alleged victim, deputies said.
